There are many places an email address can be aquired. Some charge a fee and some don't. Many times we can get a certain amount of email addresses from our ISP at no extra charge.
Many email companies have strong filters in place to keep spammers out. In itself that sounds really good but what happens when the spam filters work to well?
Some email filters look for words that spammers will generally use like "free" and "business". The ones that are ultra sensitive will not let your email through. So when someone sends an email to an address with those words that trigger the spam filter that email is not recieved by the recipient.
For example if you are one who is interested in recieving Mentoring For Free email after downloading Michael Dlouhy's Success In 10 Steps there is a great chance that you will not get if you have an email address with a hair trigger spam filter.
I have found that a simple G-Mail address will take care of your email needs nicely. I use G-Mail the majority of the time even though I have email addresses attached to my domains.
Don't let your email address hold you back. Who knows what you'll be missing out on.

Is your email address holding you back?

Do you have what the people want?
Do you have a strong love for your product?
That's nice but what really matters is if you have something people want, need or just have to have.
Is it something that will keep them coming back for more?
If the answer is no then think about it like this...
Ex. Let's say you are selling a tool kit. Men love tools so that should sell like hotcakes..right. Also let's generously say that you earn 50% on each tool kit you sell.
How many times will one person need to purchase the same tool kit for themself?
Once if it is a good one.
If it's not then I'm sure they won't be coming back to you to purchase another.
In a nutshell you have to constantly find new people to purchase in order to earn.
A consumable product is something that can be used up and needs to be replenished or replaced.
Now let's say you are selling cookies.
People love cookies and what do they do when they buy them? They eat them.
Once eaten the cookies are gone and need to be replaced. If they are really good cookies that same person will purchase from you again and again. You will earn from that one person over and over. Imagine if you have more customers and they all do the same thing.
With the right compensation plan you could make a killing.
For those that have a consumable product.
Is it remarkable..again is it what the people want?
Does your company make xyz better than any other company does or offer something that no other company does and is that product in demand?
Is the price competetive?
Ex. If you are selling vitamins for $120.99 and someone else has a similar product that is selling for $45 where do you think the consumer is going.
When you are with a company that doesn't have a massive overhead they can afford to not only have a decent compensation plan for the network marketer but they can also offer affordable products to the average consumer.

Traffic Exchanges
There are many traffic exchanges but I personally prefer manual traffic exchanges.
Why?
You have to view ads in order to have others look at your ads.
Think of it like this....
If you use a traffic exchange that doesn't require you to view anything and they give you thousands of credits to start off with you would place your links and leave.
That's exactly what others do too. They will place there ads and then leave the site hoping to get lucky.
The purpose of placing the ad is for it to be seen.
There are several Manual traffic exchanges I like and use. Here are a couple.

I'll do it tomorrow..the key to procrastination.
Ever heard the old saying "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today?"
That's sound advice!
The more you put something off the easier it becomes to keep putting it off.
What happens when you constantly procrastinate? You forget about whatever it was you needed to do and something bad happens. Then you realize that procrastination was not the best course of action you could have took.
Examples:
*The roof is leaking (Why didn't I get that coating put on before winter set in?)
*You're snowed in and there's nothing to eat beside ketchup and mustard. (Why did I put off that grocery shopping trip buying items from the corner store to hold me over and living off of fast food?)
*You are really sick. (Why did I habitually put off my physicals. Why didn't I spend more time with my spouse and children.)
True these examples are a few worst case scenarios but they do frequently happen to people who say.
1. I'll do it later.
2. We don't need it right now.
3. I don't feel like it right now.
and my personal favorite
4. I jump right on that tomorrow.
Is this you? Are you a PROCRASTINATOR?
Remember things big or small only get done when you do them and an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of the cure.
So do what you can today when it needs to be done. Tomorrow isn't promised and has it's own worries so don't add to it.

What would you rather be doing?
Is that 6:00 am bus, train or trolley ride to work your idea of a wonderful trip? Are you overjoyed as you approach your destination? Or what about the morning traffic jam for those who drive? Does that get you filled with excitement each day?
Or..
Is Friday the highlight of your week because you know you will be off of the clock and in control of your own time.
At least for the next two days that is.
Are you married? Have any children? Do you dread dropping your children off to the babysitter's house or daycare center?
What would you rather be doing?

Spreading yourself way too thin.
Moderation is the key to many things. Network marketing is no different.
The reason many of us turn to network marketing is because we want to control our own time. We want to be in charge and not have to punch a time clock. Many people are sick of the 40 plus hours they put in per week at their place of employment. In this economy many know that they are in jeopardy to lose their job at any moment. Extreme pressure overwhelms them and they want out and they want better for themselves.
So they turn to network marketing and what happens? They are so into controlling their own hours and they want to tell everyone about their opportunities that they no longer have any time left for any of the things they thought they would enjoy once they became a network marketer and joined a great business. Work, work and more work. Spreading themselves to thin.
Now don't get me wrong. Network marketing is to be taken seriously because you get out what you put into it but there should be time left for other things.
When I first started networking I was told I needed to be on at least 200 social networking sites. You don't even want to know how many traffic exchanges, article and other sites he recommended I join. I began joining many social sites..not 2o0 but enough to let me know it was too much. I was constantly on the computer from the time I woke up until I went to bed. It was like I was afraid I would miss out on something if I turned off my laptop LOL. I stopped enjoying network marketing and it wasn't really working either. I was spread so thin I couldn't be effective in any one area It was frustrating. Something had to give.
I began to learn the truth about network marketing through Mentoring For Free and I learned to cut back and how to be more effective in what I do.
You are spreading yourself way too thin if..
1. You don't have time to spend with you spouse and kids. (If you no longer have a family because your spouse moved out with the kids will it all be worth it? Absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder when you live with your mate but they are married to their work. It causes unneccessary tension and friction. Also parenting is a job for both parents. Don't be afraid to take time out to spend with your family.)
2. You only eat take out because you never have time to cook. You don't have time to exercise.(How does bad health fit into your plans to be in control of your own life? How long can you burn the candle at both ends before you start to have ill effects? Exercise is good for the body. It gives energy and relieves stress.)
3. You can never get back to anybody in a reasonable amount of time because you have over 200 sites worth of messages to read and profiles to work on. (Remember the guy I mentioned earlier who told me I needed to be on at least 200 social sites..well I had a question and I still haven't heard back from him. He's probably still going through messages from 2007 LOL.)
Choose the sites that are working and stick with those and add more later if need be...Moderation is the key.
Take breaks, watch a movie with the kids, exercise, go shopping or cook a meal. Don't worry your messages will still be there when you're done.
Also think about duplication. How many people do you think will join your downline if they think they have to do the same as you? Give them something they can really duplicate and your business will grow.

No recruiting required?
As I check my email and messages on various sites I notice that I get quite a few of the "No recruiting required" messages as they go on and spam me about their mlm business.
Key words: Multi level marketing = recruiting one under another.
Ok, spam aside the message is still irritating because it is a lie. I would rather get the annoying messages that tell me I only need 4 people and they need 4 people and so on..you get the point.
I would rather get those messages because they are truthful about what you have to do. Not that I believe I am going to earn the one or two million if I fill that particular matrix because I know it won't happen, but at least it tells me that I have to recruit.
I am building a mlm business myself so I know that your downline is not going to magically appear.
A lot of time I get the same message from several people which is very irritating.
It tells me that they are getting the lies in their promotional sections of their back offices and that is even more irritating because the business is lacking several of the 5 pillars needed for a successful business.
So many times I want to write back "Well aren't you trying to recruit me now!"
Of course I don't.
Now is that the kind of system you would want to build your business on?
Lies only last but so long and then are brought out into the open and what happens..there is not a large retention rate in an environment like that.
People who may have really thought they didn't have to recruit will get dissapointed and leave.
When you have a system that really works you can build your business and teach others to do the same.
